In the 8th grade, our group disbanded when two of our members moved elsewhere. I was forced to take a break while I looked for a new group. I found them, all 9th grade boys. I was the only girl. And I like to think I added so much to the group. We met for sessions every other Saturday at the local library for all day insanity. Our group was going so well when, the following summer, they all when to camps and leadership conventions and whatnot. They never contacted me to start up again.
I started my freshman year craving D&D. I wanted so badly to be back at the table, fighting zombies and Strahd and other monsters. My fifth hour was Geometry, my least favorite subject that year. Except for one boy. He always intrigued me but my teacher kept my seat far away from him. I think our last names might have had something to do with it. H and W. Anyways, about halfway through the year, I noticed his backpack. It was full of AD&D books. Of course, I immediately aquired his contacts. I did not get in contact with him until this past summer and we immediately picked up an AD&D group. 4 guys and me. It's great. And the boy and I are now dating.
We're eagerly awaiting 4E's release on the 6th and simply can't wait
